WATERPROOF. The use of our YKK Aquaseal zipper along with all welded seams qualifies our bags to truly be deemed waterproof. Beware of false claims from others who use this terminology incorrectly as marketing speak. Also beware of 'weatherproof', 'splashproof', 'rainproof' and 'rain resistant'. These terms do not mean waterproof.
No. The Captain's Bag can be used however you see fit. Many customers prefer no strap or place the folded strap into one of the interior pockets. Shoulder mode is good for longer walks to the dock or especially heavy loads.
Yes. The Captain's Bag approved and ready for travel. Versatility is this bags strong suit and we find endless uses for it beyond the marina.
Not particularly. Our bag is not a cooler, it is a utility bag for valuables and tools.
BAG:Hand wash yoru Captain's Bag as needed to remove salt or residue. Use a wet cloth to clean inside. (Do not fill bag with water to clean).
ZIPPER:It is advised to periodically apply a zipper lubricant to the main zipper if you frequently use your bag salt water environments.
Shipping
All orders will take 1-3 business days to process and pack for shipment.* Orders during the holiday season may be delayed due to higher volume as well as processing time with the shipping carrier.
Arrival times may take as long as 4-5 weeks to arrive for international shipments. For expedited shipping options on international orders, please contact us. It is recommended that you use your mail forwarder if possible to minimize the chance of lost packages.
Orders outside of the U.S. may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are applied once a shipment reaches your country. For specific duties and tax amounts, you may contact your customs office for more detailed information.

Returns
Returns must be requested within 30 days of receiving your shipment and be free of excessive wear or damage. Items marked as final sale or sample are not eligible for return.
